Nutwell Court Horse Trials: 25 and 26 July 2009

The course is set in 150 acres of rolling parkland stretching down to the banks of the River Exe and the beautiful Nutwell Court estate house can be seen from the far side of the course.

Our thanks must again go to John and Jessica Colson and Simon Bere, whose dedication has kept this event running and going from strength to strength! It never ceases to amaze us the amount of organisation that goes into this event and the time and effort of all the organisers, helpers and sponsors, to make it happen and run so beautifully.

Mary King's famous and now very sadly late King Boris was the inspiration for the two beautiful bronzes sculpted by Frances Margaret, offered to the overall winners of the Pre Novice and Open Pre Novice. He enjoyed a wonderful and happy retirement here at Nutwell. Now we are very honoured to have another famous resident in the form of Mary's Olympic silver medal winner, King Solomon III, who will be assured of having the very best of veterinary care in his semi retirement!

We hope you enjoy your day whether participating or spectating!
